This power conversion device (1) comprises a direct current connecting member (9), an alternating current connecting member (13), a power module (30), a capacitor (40) connected to the direct current connecting member (9), a housing (2) in which the power module (30) is thermally connected to a cooling surface (2a), and a control board (70). The power module (30) has a module body part (35), a direct current connecting terminal connected to the direct current connecting member (9), and an alternating current connecting terminal (33) connected to the alternating current connecting member (13). The alternating current connecting member (13) and the alternating current connecting terminal (33) are disposed on one side in a first direction of the module body part (35), the capacitor (40) is disposed on the other side in the first direction of the module body part (35), the direct current connecting terminal is disposed on one side or the other side in a second direction of the module body part (35), the direct current connecting member (9) has a facing part that faces the cooling surface (2a), and at least a portion of the facing part is thermally connected to the cooling surface (2a).
