Abstract:
This vacuum cleaner comprises: a suction body which sucks in dirt present on a surface to be cleaned; a light source unit which outputs illumination light toward the surface to be cleaned; an ambient light detection unit which detects the intensity of ambient light in the environment where cleaning takes place; a reflection light detection unit which detects the intensity of reflection light reflected on the surface to be cleaned; and a control unit which adjusts the intensity of the illumination light on the basis of the intensity of the detected ambient light and the intensity of the detected reflection light on the surface to be cleaned.
