Abstract:
This power conversion system is a self-excited power converter comprising a load supply voltage adjustment unit that adjusts the load supply voltage on the basis of a load supply current command value calculated on the basis of load status quantities and operation commands, a self-excited power converter provided with a reactor that smooths DC current and suppresses harmonic current flowing to an AC power supply, and a current control unit that controls the current flowing through the reactor on the basis of the current command value for controlling the reactive power so that the current command value for maintaining the DC capacitor voltage of the self-excited power converter at a prescribed value and the power factor of the AC power outputted to the AC system side match a prescribed power factor.
