Abstract:
The present invention prevents a communication mode from being changed at the time of re-authentication. To this end, this power feeding device, which wirelessly supplies power to an electronic device, includes: a communication unit which transmits power in a contactless manner and transmits/receives information; a holding unit which, when authentication is initially performed with the electronic device through the communication unit, holds information that indicates a communication mode at the time when communication is established with the electronic device; and a control unit which, when the authentication is performed a second time with the electronic device through the communication unit, controls the communication unit so as to communicate in a communication mode based on the information held in the holding unit.
