Abstract:
This power generation element is arranged between a first member and a second member that is spaced from the first member by a predetermined distance. The power generation element is provided with: a pair of magnetostrictive members which are arranged to be spaced from each other and which each have one end retained by the first member and have the other end retained by the second member; a coil wound around at least one of the pair of magnetostrictive members; and pairs of permanent magnets respectively arranged on the first member side and the second member side of the pair of magnetostrictive members. Each of the pairs of permanent magnets is held between the corresponding pair of magnetostrictive elements via an elastic body.
