Abstract:
This power storage apparatus is provided with: an electrode assembly that is formed by alternately laminating positive and negative electrodes with a separator therebetween; a case body that houses the electrode assembly; and a lid member that closes the opening of the case body. The bottom side end edge and the lateral end edge of the positive electrode are positioned inward of the bottom side end edge and the lateral end edge of the negative electrode. Rounded corners are formed at the intersections between the inner surfaces of the side walls of the case body and the inner bottom surface of the bottom wall of the case body. A gap is present between the bottom surface of the electrode assembly and the inner bottom surface of the case body, and the size of the gap in the depth direction is larger by 1-1.5 times than the radius of the corners.
