Provided is a BMS 50 comprising: a relay 54 which is connected in series with a secondary battery 12; and a management unit 55 which operates by means of power supplied from the secondary battery 12 and opens and closes the relay 54, wherein a portion 100 of the components of the relay 54 functions as a fuse.
