Abstract:

[Problem] To simplify the configuration of a functional module so as to achieve intensive management of the functional module. [Solution] The functional module comprises: multiple functional modules (10), each of which comprises a battery block produced by laminating multiple battery cells (11) connected in series and/or in parallel, a battery condition detection unit (14) for detecting the condition of the battery cells (11), a communication interface (16) for carrying out the data communication with another functional module (10) or a main controller (2), and a memory unit (18) which can record data that is communicated through the communication interface (16); the communication interfaces (16) for the individual functional modules (10); and a main controller (2) which is connected through a communication line (CB). In the functional module, the multiple functional modules (10) are connected to each other in series and/or in parallel on an output line (OL).
