Abstract:
A power transmission device (20) includes a differential ring gear (45), a differential gear (50), and a transmission case (22) for housing the differential ring gear (45) and the differential gear (50). The interior of the transmission case (22) is divided by a resinous reservoir plate (70) into a differential chamber (60) in which the differential ring gear (45) and the differential gear (50) are disposed, and a hydraulic oil storage chamber (65) for storing hydraulic oil. The reservoir plate (70) includes a metal plate (100) secured to the lower part of a flange section (72) that faces the hydraulic oil storage chamber (65), and a magnet (M) that is attached to the metal plate (100) by magnetic force.
