Abstract:
A power transmission device provided with: a housing; a ball screw device having a nut, a threaded shaft, and a plurality of balls; a pulley device having a drive pulley that operates by receiving power from a power source, a driven pulley fixed to the nut, and a belt passed on the outer circumferential surface of the driven pulley and the drive pulley; a first bearing and a second bearing that are provided between the housing and the nut, and that are aligned in a center axis direction parallel to the center axis of the nut; and a preload application member for applying a preload to the first bearing and the second bearing. The first bearing and the second bearing are arranged so as to be combined face to face, and are arranged respectively at both sides of the driven pulley. The first bearing and the second bearing each include an outer ring that is fitted into the housing, and the outer rings are pressed toward the driven pulley by the preload application member yet are at a distance from the driven pulley so that there is a gap between same and the driven pulley.
