Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of electronics, and provides a PPG sensor and an electronic device. The electronic device comprises: a main body and a PPG sensor, the PPG sensor being arranged on the main body and electrically connected to a circuit board within the main body. The PPG sensor comprises: a substrate, a first electrode, a light emission layer, a light reception layer, a second transparent electrode, and a transparent face plate all packaged as one; the substrate and the first electrode are both located at one side of the light emission layer, and the second transparent electrode and the transparent face plate are both located at the other side of the light emission layer; the light reception layer, the first electrode, and the second transparent electrode are all located between the substrate and the transparent face plate, and the polarities of the first electrode and the second transparent electrode are opposite; the light transmission layer comprises light emitting pixels used for emitting an optical signal, and the light reception layer comprises light receiving pixels used for detecting the optical signal. Technical solutions provided in the present application allow for assembly costs and the size of a PPG sensor to be reduced, and the thickness of the PPG sensor as well as a gap between the PPG sensor and the skin can also be reduced.
