Abstract:
In the present invention, Z prediction models are respectively associated with mutually different Z explanatory variable sets. Each of the Z explanatory variable sets is a combination of mutually different p explanatory variables among N explanatory variables. The N explanatory variables represent molecular structures. Each of the Z prediction models calculates the values of objective variables representing characteristics derived by a given molecular compound by assigning values corresponding to the molecular structure of the given molecular compound to the explanatory variable set associated with this prediction model. A model selection part (222) selects A prediction models from among the Z prediction models in accordance with the values of the explanatory variable set corresponding to the molecular structure of the given molecular compound. A prediction execution part (223) predicts characteristics to be derived by the given molecular compound by using the A prediction models.
