Abstract:
The present invention enables low-overhead and safe control that prevents a process on a critical section or the like from being preempted by a user program. A preemption control device 30 according to the present invention comprises: a setting unit 31 for setting addresses in which prohibition designation information, indicating whether or not to prohibit preemption for processes 50-1 to 50-n executed by an information processing device 40, is stored in accordance with execution of the processes; a determination unit 32 for determining whether or not the status of the process 50-i that is being executed satisfies a condition for preventing execution of preemption; and an execution unit 33 which, for performing preemption, refers to the address in which the prohibition designation information about the process 50-i is stored, and if the prohibition designation information indicates that preemption should be prohibited, and a result of the determination by the determination unit 32 is positive, continues to execute the process 50-i without performing preemption.
