Abstract:
This preparatory work assistance device comprises: a plurality of wireless communication units arranged in a one-to-one relationship at cassette-mounting portions for communicating with a wireless tag of a cassette mounted to one cassette-mounting portion; a storage unit for storing setup information that designates a component to be placed on the cassette-mounting portion; a cassette detection unit for detecting that a cassette has been mounted to the cassette-mounting portion; and a cassette determination unit for identifying the mounting portion to which a cassette has been mounted when the cassette detection unit detects mounting of a cassette, as well as reading component information stored in the wireless tag via the wireless communication unit and referencing the setup information, and determining whether or not a cassette containing an appropriate carrier tape has been mounted.
