Abstract:
The press-forming method of an aspect of the present invention has at least a top plate section and a vertical wall section that connects to the top plate section via a connecting section, and all or a part of the vertical wall section press forms a press-form article convexly curved as viewed from above toward the outer side of the press-form article using a die or punch. In the press-forming method, the distal end of a blank material is caused to be in constant contact with the vertical-wall-forming section of the die. Also, the vertical-wall-forming section forms a vertical wall section of the press-form article with the distal end of the blank material unbound except for said contact.
