Abstract:
Provided is a pressure adjustment device, which is capable of adjusting the pressure in each of multiple tanks and for which increased device size and increased cost have been limited. The pressure adjustment device 300 for adjusting the pressure inside tanks for storing ink that is to be supplied to inkjet heads 24a is equipped with: a first subtank 301 for storing ink; a first open-close valve 302 for opening and closing the interior of the first subtank 301 to the atmosphere; a second subtank 303 for storing ink supplied from the first subtank 301 and supplying the ink to an inkjet head 24a; a second open-close valve 304 and a third open-close valve 305 for opening and closing the interior of the second subtank 303 to the atmosphere; an air feed pipe 306 connecting the gas-storing portions inside the first subtank 301 and the second subtank 303; an air feed pump 307 provided in the air feed pipe 306; and a control unit 40 for driving the various units.
