Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a primer composition which has excellent storage stability and excellent printability immediately after and one month after primer manufacture, and further, a film of which has excellent drying properties and a primer film of which has excellent transparency after printing. This purpose is met by providing a primer composition which contains the resin emulsion described below, a cohesion promoter, a surfactant and water. The aforementioned resin emulsion is at least one of a polyolefin resin emulsion and a urethane resin emulsion; one or one or more surfactants (a) selected from acetylene surfactant and a silicone surfactant, and a nonionic surfactant (b) other than the aforementioned surfactant (a) are selected from the group consisting of a polyoxyalkylene group-containing fatty acid glyceryl, a polyoxyalkylene group-containing aliphatic amine and a polyoxyalkylene group-containing sorbitan fatty acid ester that have an HLB value of no less than 10.0 and less than 15.5, and that have multiple polyoxyalkylene groups in the molecule; in the primer composition, the content ratio of the aforementioned nonionic surfactant (b) is less than or equal to 3.0 mass%, and either does not contain an organic solvent, or the organic solvent content in the primer composition is less than or equal to 1.0 mass%.
