Abstract:
Provided is a printer in which visibility of a cutter can be ensured. The present invention is provided with: a first ink storage part and a second ink storage part in which an ink is stored; an ejection head which ejects the ink; a carriage 18 which moves the ejection head and the second ink storage part; a tube 15 which connects the first ink storage part and the second ink storage part; a first exterior member 21 located ahead of the carriage 18; and a cutter 19 which moves between the carriage 18 and the first exterior member 21 in a scan direction X and cuts a medium 16. In the first exterior member 21, an opening 32 is formed ahead of the cutter 19 located at a predetermined position PP. An inner surface 50 of the first exterior member 21 includes a first sliding contact surface 51 with which the tube 15 can come into sliding contact. The first sliding contact surface 51 is located in an opening region OA in which the opening 32 is formed in the scan direction X and which is located vertically above the opening 32.
