Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to stop a can at the disposition site of an image-forming means and thereby increase can alignment precision when forming an image on the can. The present invention is a printing apparatus provided with: a moving body (550) for holding and moving a can (10); an image-forming means (11) for forming an image on the can that is on the moving body stopped at a preset stopping site; and a press-receiving part (900) which is disposed at the stopping site and against which is pressed a part of the moving body stopped at the stopping site and/or a part of the can being held by the moving body.
