Abstract:
The printing device (10) is provided with: an image-printing unit (18) for printing an image on a sheet (P); an image defect-detecting unit for detecting sheets (P) on which an image defect has occurred; a setting unit (138), which sets the number of sheets (P) to be grouped together; a first stamper unit (202) for applying ink on the leading edge of an image defect sheet (P); and a second stamper unit (204), which is disposed side-by-side with the first stamper unit (202) in the sheet width direction and is for applying ink on the leading edge of the sheets (P) that correspond to the number of copies to be grouped together.
