Abstract:
A data reception unit 27 receives adjusted printed image data including divided printed image data divided according to print page, and an image layout processing unit 29 operates a shading unit 31 to apply a threshold value matrix and generates half-tone image data to cause a print head 13 to print on continuous paper WP. At this time, when the image layout processing unit 29 has assessed that the divided printed image data is the last of the adjusted printed image data, the shading unit 31 is made to reset the threshold value matrix. The threshold value matrix is not reset on the printed pages PA, and a decrease in printing quality in the borders of the print page can therefore be prevented even the printed image data is a rectangle spanning across the print page.
