Abstract:
A prism prescription value acquisition system comprises a calculation unit for numerically transforming a fixation disparity amount (in units of angle) indicating the extent of displacement of a visual axis from the central fovea on a retina when a subject fixates an object by both eyes into a prism prescription value by multiplying the fixation disparity amount by a coefficient if the fixation disparity amount is within plus or minus four minutes. Note that the prism prescription value is calculated on the basis of the following expressions. APhor=khor*FDhor APver=kver*FDver where the respective coefficients khor and kver satisfy the following conditions. 0.3≤kver≤0.7 1.4≤khor≤2.0
