Abstract:
The present invention provides Pro-Xylane, a production method therefor, and the use thereof in cosmetics. The Pro-Xylane has a content of C-β-D-xylopyranoside-2-hydroxypropane of 95% or more, and contains C-β-D-xylopyranoside-2-(S)-hydroxypropane and C-β-D-xylopyranoside-2-(R)-hydroxypropane, wherein the C-β-D-xylopyranoside-2-(S)-hydroxypropane is excessive and has a de value of 92% or more. Compared with existing Pro-Xylane products, the Pro-Xylane product of the present invention has more excessive bioactive isomers, thus improving the biological activity of the product.
