Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a process method for preparing glycol maleate. The process method comprises the following steps: (1) performing a pre-esterification reaction on maleic anhydride and lower aliphatic alcohol in a pre-esterification reactor, so as to obtain a mixture of corresponding water, alcohol, monoalcohol maleate, glycol maleate and a small amount of maleic anhydride; and (2) performing flash evaporation and rectification on the reaction mixture generated by the pre-esterification reaction, then performing reactive rectification on the reaction mixture and corresponding lower aliphatic alcohol under the catalysis of acidic resin, and completing esterification, so as to obtain the desired glycol maleate. Compared with the prior art, the process method for preparing glycol maleate of the present invention has less process pollution, low energy consumption, high product yield and stable operation of the whole process, avoids the over-temperature on a tray of a reaction rectification column, and prolongs the service life of a catalyst.
