Abstract:
A colloid preparation of platinum and palladium scavenges active oxygen and thus produces surprising effects for treatment and prevention of diseases, enhancement in vitality of the human body and improvement in health. Since, however, air and oxygen should be cut off for its stable storage, the preparation should have been in the form of an ampoule. In the present invention, the internal surface of a capsule is coated with chitosan for protecting the colloid solution of platinum and palladium against air and oxygen, that is, cutting off air and oxygen. Specifically, an about 2% acidic solution of chitosan having a molecular weight of 500 to 5000 and dissolved under such an acidic condition that the pH is not more than 4 is sprayed on the internal surface of a gelatin film for the preparation of a soft capsule, followed by drying to a small extent. For realizing the acidic condition, the use of an organic acid acceptable as a food additive is preferred. In the preparation of a soft capsule, the use of a coating with the internal surface thereof being coated with chitosan can provide a soft capsule which enables an aqueous solution, such as a colloidal solution of platinum and palladium, to be encapsulated therein and can realize protection against air.
