Abstract:
A technique is provided by which a molded object obtained by molding cycloolefin resin pellets each containing a lubricant incorporated thereinto can be made to have a far lower content of gel particles that were formed therein than conventional molded objects.
A molded object is produced from pellets obtained by melt-kneading a cycloolefin resin and a C14 or higher compound which is a linear hydrocarbon having a hydrophilic group at one end thereof. It is preferable that the organic compound have 30 or less carbon atoms. The proportion of the organic compound is preferably 0.1-3 wt.% relative to the total amount of the organic compound and the cycloolefin resin.
