Abstract:
A process for producing a polysilazane having a backbone containing Si-N bonds, which comprises reacting a polyvalent aminosilane compound with a polyhydrogenated nitrogen compound in the presence of a basic catalyst or reacting a polyhydrogenated silicon compound with a polyhydrogenated nitrogen compound in the presence of a basic solid oxide catalyst.
