Abstract:

In the present invention a skill level assessment unit 101 assesses the skill level of a user with respect to operation of a user device. When a trigger has occurred, a display hint determination unit 103 determines a hint to be displayed. A hint type specification unit 104 specifies the type of hint determined by the display hint determination unit 103. A display format determination unit 105 determines the display format of the hint in accordance with the hint type specified by the hint type specification unit 104. The display format determination unit 105, in accordance with the hint type, determines the display format from among multiple display formats having different operation methods when a hint is displayed. A hint display control unit 106 displays the hint determined by the display hint determination unit 103 on a display means, in the display format determined by the display format determination unit 105.
