Abstract:
A producing process for a spiral composite steel pipe comprises steps as follows,
(1) selecting a strip coil according to the diameter of the composite pipe (S1),
(2) unwinding (S2), (3) leveling (S3), (4) edge milling (S4), (5) pipe forming
(S5), (6) inner and outer welding (S6), (7) crack detecting (S7), (8) cutting
at a predetermined length (S8), (9) flat head chamfering (S9), (10) putting in
storage (S10), wherein a composite bimetal coil of stainless steel and carbon
steel is used as the metal coil in step (1), and a stainless welding rod is used for
welding in step (6). The process is easy to carry out and may be apply to a conventional
spiral pipe making machine set for producing the composite metal pipe.
