Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a framework in which it is possible to place a timely order for a product on the basis of information for a storefront such as inventory information or product delivery information so that a recipient different from the ordering party or the ordering party can receive the ordered product, and in which the number of products that can be ordered can be greatly increased and the burden on distribution warehouses can be reduced. [Solution] Provided is a device which is connected in a manner by which communication is possible to receiving-side storefront terminals which carry out a process for receiving an ordered product on the basis of order information which includes information about the ordered product and personal information such as the name and address of the recipient to receive the product, said device comprising: an input means for accepting an input of the personal information such as the name and address of the recipient and identifying a receiving-side storefront which is in the vicinity of the address; an order processing means for acquiring product inventory information and/or delivery-scheduled product information for the receiving-side storefront and generating the order information by accepting an order for the product on the basis of the inventory information and/or the delivery-scheduled product information for the receiving-side storefront; and a transmission means for transmitting the order information and the personal information of the ordering party to the receiving-side storefront terminal.
