Abstract:

[Problem] To enable reporting instructing a product management task to be performed at an appropriate and effective timing. [Solution] This product monitoring device, which monitors the exhibition state of a product on the basis of a video of the exhibition area in a store, is provided with: a product detection unit (41) that detects a product in the exhibition area on the basis of the video of the exhibition area; a product state detection unit (42) that detects the product exhibition state in the exhibition area on the basis of the detection results of the product detection unit; a person detection unit (43) that detects a person visiting the inside of the store on the basis of the video in the store; a person state detection unit (44) that detects the visit state of the person in the store on the basis of the detection results of the person detection unit; a reporting determination unit (45) that determines the possibility of reporting instructing a store employee of a product management task on the basis of the detection results of the person state detection unit and the product state detection unit; and a reporting unit (46) that performs reporting on the basis of the determination results of the reporting determination unit.
