Abstract:
A production management system comprising: a pre-process specimen shelf (12) and post-process specimen shelf (15) as multiple specimen shelves which sense for the presence of unique IDs for lot storage boxes (19) placed thereon; a pre-process specimen shelf management personal computer (13) and post-process specimen shelf management personal computer (16) as shelf management personal computers which ascertain the presence of unique IDs of the lot storage boxes (19) for each specimen shelf with unique IDs being assigned to the multiple specimen shelves, that is, the pre-process specimen shelf (12) and post-process specimen shelf (15); and a host computer (17) as a host device which manages the address location information for the specimen boxes via the shelf management personal computers.
