Title:
PRODUCTION METHOD FOR ACIDIC-GAS SEPARATING COMPOSITE MEMBRANE, AND ACIDIC-GAS SEPARATING MEMBRANE MODULE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/156192
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To contribute, during a separation of a gas to be separated that is performed in a high pressure environment and includes a high volume of water vapor, to the durability of the separation activity of an acidic-gas separating composite membrane containing a gel facilitated-transport membrane. [Solution] A hydrophobic porous body (2a) including a 3D mesh structure (200) formed of a plurality of fibrils (201) that are intersected, coupled, or branched, and a large number of holes (203) that comprise microscopic spaces sectioned off by the plurality of fibrils (201), is prepared. Upon the hydrophobic porous body (2a), a facilitated-transport membrane (3) for acidic gas separation, which is positioned on one surface of the hydrophobic porous body (2a), and an auxiliary support (2b), which is laminated on the reverse surface of the hydrophobic porous body (2a), are provided. The average distance between fibrils in a surface that is parallel to the surface on which the facilitated-transport membrane (3) for acidic gas separation is formed, is made to be 0.001-2μm inclusive, the average length of fibrils in the same surface is made to be 0.01-2μm inclusive, and the average distance between fibrils in the direction perpendicular to the same surface is made to be 0.001-2μm inclusive.
