Abstract:
Provided are: a production method for a formulation composition from which it is possible to easily obtain a formulation that has a high hardness and excellent granulation properties while inhibiting degradation of a drug during production; and a production method for the formulation. A production method for a formulation composition according to the present invention comprises step 1 for kneading and granulating, in a barrel, a mixture containing a filler, an active component, and a binding agent by twin-screw extrusion. The temperature in the barrel is at most 140°C. The mass-average molecular weight of the binding agent is at most 1,000,000 g/mol. The proportion of the filler and the active component contained in the mixture is 80-95 mass% with respect to the total mass of the filler, the active component, and the binding agent. The proportion of the filler contained in the mixture is 1-94 mass% with respect to the total mass of the filler, the active component, and the binding agent.
