Abstract:

A planographic printing plate original plate exhibiting high developing performance and high speed thin layer coating aptitude by preventing deformation and destruction of fine particles dispersed into an image forming layer. Production method and handling method of a planographic printing plate original plate having an image recording layer containing a photosensitive composition dispersed with fine particles are provided. A pressure acting on the image recording layer during or after formation of the image recording layer is 1.5×10⁵N/m² or less. Pressure conditions can be achieved through control of any one of pressure PL acting on the coating liquid during formation of the image recording layer, sum of the PL and shear stress &tgr , pressure PF acting at the time of carriage of a support after formation of the image recording layer, pressure PR acting at the time of winding the long strip support, pressure PP acting at the time of laminating the planographic printing plate original plate, and pressure PK acting at the time of storing the stock rolled planographic printing plate original plate. preferably, the fine particles are polymer fine particles.
