Disclosed is a production system for automatically harvesting cut roots. The system comprises: a water flow carrying device (10), with a planting board (20) being disposed on a circulating water flow in the water flow carrying device (10); a lifting device (30) for receiving the planting board (20) from the water flow carrying device (10); a planting board conveying tank (40) connected to the lifting device (30) to receive the planting board (20) from the lifting device (30); an automatic root cutting device (50) connected to the planting board conveying tank (40) to receive the planting board (20) from the planting board conveying tank (40) and to cut the roots of a plant on the planting board (20); and a root cutting, lifting and collecting device (70) connected to the automatic root cutting device (50) to receive the cut roots from the automatic root cutting device (50). The production system for automatically harvesting cut roots realizes industrial automation from the harvesting to the packaging of plant planting boards, thus reducing the workloads of workers, and also reducing mechanical damage to vegetables caused by workers and improving the quality of the vegetables.
