Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a profile single-strand die for a direct-current submarine cable, comprising a sizing die and several process dies. Sleeves of the several process dies are sequentially sleeved on the outside of the sizing die from small to large; a cross-sectional change rate of the sizing die and the adjacent process die and a cross-sectional change rate of the two adjacent process dies are controlled to be 0-55%; the sizing die is arc-shaped. In this manner, the present invention relates to a profile single-strand die for a direct-current submarine cable and a design method for the profile single-strand die; according to the design method, the number of the process dies, the planar structural size of each die, and a relative position relationship between a profile single strand and the center of a copper rod are determined, and it is ensured that the copper rod is uniformly extruded and deformed in each direction in a wire drawing process.
