Abstract:
A cable end connecting device for tension and bending tests of submarine cables, comprising a steel wire tension plate (1), a conductor bearing tension plate (2), and connecting screws (4). A plurality of tension mechanisms are mounted between the steel wire tension plate (1) and the conductor bearing tension plate (2); each tension mechanism consists of a metal lug (7), a tension meter (5), and a tension meter screw (6); a conductor hole (13), a plurality of first screw holes (14), and a plurality of armor holes (15) are formed in the steel wire tension plate (1); and two fixing holes (16), a plurality of second screw holes (17), and a plurality of tension meter screw holes (18) are formed in the conductor bearing tension plate (2). The cable end connecting device solves the shortcomings of the existing traditional connecting devices for tension and bending tests, and can separately fix an armored steel wire (8) and submarine cable conductors (10), and enables determination of the overall tension distribution of a submarine cable by adjusting the tension of the three-core (single-core) conductors separately, thereby meeting test requirements for tension and bending tests of three-core or single-core, large-cross-section, and ultra-high-voltage submarine cables.
