Title:
PROGRAM FOR PARTITIONING MULTIPLE-QUBIT OBSERVABLES, METHOD FOR PARTITIONING MULTIPLE-QUBIT OBSERVABLES, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/209828
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention reduces the number of cliques generated by partitioning. An information processing device (10) uses an Ising machine (1) to generate a first clique (4) representing a combination of observables which are included in a first group (3) of a plurality of observables, and for which expected values can be measured simultaneously. The information processing device (10) generates a second group (5) including observables for which expected values can be measured at the same time as expected values for the observables in the first clique (4). The information processing device (10) uses the Ising machine (1) to generate a second clique (6) representing a combination of observables which are included in the union (7) of the first clique (4) and the second group (5), and for which expected values can be measured simultaneously. The information processing device (10) then repeats the generation of the second clique (6) on the basis of the first clique (4), which is updated with the observables included in the second clique (6), until an exit condition is satisfied.
