Abstract:
Provided is a progressive press die capable of always conveying a band-form metal material in a satisfactory manner to a specific processing stage irrespective of whether a lifter member is present. A progressive press die equipped with a lower die 1 that has a die in which a plurality of die holes Da corresponding to a press processing shape are formed, punches P that correspond to the die holes Da, and an upper die 2 that can be moved close to and away from the lower die 1, a plurality of processing stages S being configured from the corresponding die holes Da and punches P, a band-form metal material W being sequentially conveyed to the processing stages S, and prescribed press processing being performed by the punches P and die holes Da in each processing stage S, wherein the progressive press die is equipped with electromagnets 7 disposed at a specific processing stage Sc in at least the upper die 2, the electromagnets 7 attracting, through magnetic force, the band-form metal material W being conveyed to the specific processing stage Sc.
