Abstract:
This projection device comprises: a plurality of light sources arranged in a first direction; a spatial modulation element that modulates incident light into image information and emits said image information; a lens that varies the light path of light emitted from each light source in such a manner that the light emitted from each of the plurality of light sources reaches the same region of the incident surface of the spatial modulation element; and a first reflective optical member which deflects light emitted from the lens towards the spatial modulation element. The first reflective optical member has a shape which reflects light in such a manner that light emitted from the lens is incident at a predetermined reference angle of incidence with respect to an arbitrarily-defined point on the incident surface of the spatial modulation element.
