Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a projection device and a projection lens that make it possible to suitably perform control relating to rotation of a projection lens. A projection device according to a first embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a housing; a power supply; and a projection lens that is attached to the housing and that comprises holding sections and a lock mechanism for switching rotation of the holding sections between a locked state and a lock release state. When the power supply is turned on, rotation of the holding sections is in the locked state. As a result of it being impossible for the projection lens to rotate when turning on the power supply, the first embodiment makes it possible to safely release the locked state in accordance with the intention of a user and rotate the holding sections.
