Abstract:
Provided is a projection video display device 1 which is connected to an external information processing device 4 which accepts an input manipulation from a pointer manipulation input and a key input, said projection video display device 1 comprising: a projection unit 115 which projects a display video upon a projection surface; an image capture unit 100 which image captures the projection surface and outputs a captured image; detection units 104-109 which, on the basis of the captured image, detect the states of manipulation objects which carry out actions for the input manipulation upon the information processing device 4; a manipulation instruction information generating unit 110 which, on the basis of the states of the manipulation objects which the detection units 104-109 have detected, generates manipulation instruction information which indicates a description of the input manipulation; and a communication unit 116 for communication connecting to the information processing device 4. The detection units detect the movements of the manipulation objects and attributes which represent the states of the manipulation objects other than the movements. The manipulation instruction information generating unit 110 generates, on the basis of the movements of the manipulation objects which the detection units have detected, first control information for carrying out the pointer manipulation input upon the information processing device 4, and, on the basis of the attributes of the manipulation objects, second control information for carrying out a prescribed key input upon the information processing device 4. The communication unit 116 transmits the first control information and the second control information to the information processing device 4.
