Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel compound which has a prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) receptor EP2/EP4 dual antagonizing effect and is useful as: a preventive or therapeutic agent for a disease selected from cancer, pain, endometriosis, autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease, acute ischemic syndrome in patients with atherosclerosis, pneumonia, and neurodegenerative diseases; an agent for controlling fertilization in females; and the like. The present invention relates to: a compound represented by formula (I) [the symbols in the formula are as defined in the description] or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and a preventive or therapeutic agent for a disease selected from cancer, pain, endometriosis, autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease, acute ischemic syndrome in patients with atherosclerosis, pneumonia, and neurodegenerative diseases, an agent for controlling fertilization in females, and the like, the agents containing the compound as an active ingredient.
