Abstract:
A protection method and system for a high-voltage direct-current circuit. The protection method for a high-voltage direct-current circuit comprises: acquiring direct-current circuit parameters and direct-current system operation parameters, and sampling operation parameters at a direct-current circuit protection mounting position (S1); on the basis of the operation parameters at the direct-current circuit protection mounting position, calculating a circuit-mode fault voltage of a sampling point, a zero-mode fault voltage of the sampling point, a circuit-mode fault current of the sampling point, and the continuous change rate of the circuit-mode fault current (S2); according to the circuit-mode fault current and the continuous change rate of the circuit-mode fault current, determining whether to start circuit protection (S3); in response to the circuit protection being started, compensating for a circuit-mode fault voltage on the basis of the direct-current circuit parameters, the direct-current system operation parameters and a first peak value of the circuit-mode fault voltage (S4); and according to the circuit-mode fault voltage which has been compensated for, determining whether a fault occurs in a high-voltage direct-current circuit, and in response to a fault occurring in the high-voltage direct-current circuit, determining the polarity of the circuit fault on the basis of the zero-mode fault voltage (S5).
