Abstract:
The present invention provides a PTC element which comprises: a PTC unit that is in the form of a layer and has a first main surface and a second main surface; a first electrode that is positioned on the first main surface of the PTC unit; and a second electrode that is positioned on the second main surface of the PTC unit. This PTC element is characterized in that: at least a part of the first main surface is exposed; and the planar shapes of the first electrode and the second electrode are not the same.
