Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to detect a pulse wave of a lifeform with high precision. Provided is a pulse wave detection device (2A), comprising: a camera (10A) which captures a plurality of images of the lifeform via a first green filter and an infrared filter which are provided with an optical transmittance characteristic in a near-infrared wavelength region from among a wavelength region in which the light absorption index of oxyhemoglobin is greater than the light absorption index of reduced hemoglobin; and an image analysis unit (20A) which detects a pulse wave of the lifeform by analyzing the plurality of images of the lifeform which have been captured by the camera (10A). The image analysis unit (20A) detects the pulse wave by detecting a change, which is indicated by the plurality of images, in the intensity of the light in the near-infrared wavelength region.
