Abstract:
Provided is a puncture needle that has a sharp cutting edge and a sufficiently secured cutting edge length. This puncture needle comprises: a rod-shaped body portion; a blade surface portion which is formed at the tip-end portion of the body portion and has a front-side blade surface extending at an angle to the axial center of the body portion; a first back surface portion having a flat shape which is formed on the back side of the front-side blade surface at the tip-end portion of the body portion; and a second back surface portion having a flat shape which is formed on the back side of the front-side blade surface at the tip-end portion of the body portion. The first back surface portion and the second back surface portion are parallel to the axial center, or become closer to each other toward the needle tip, and do not intersect with each other at the needle tip.
