Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a purification method for dichloromethane that is capable of reducing stabilizers contained in dichloromethane, is easy to put into operation, and can be industrially implemented. [Solution] This purification method for dichloromethane involves bringing dichloromethane, which contains at least one type of stabilizer selected from a group comprising 2-methyl-2-butene, hydroquinone and resorcinol, into contact with a zeolite having an average pore size of 3 to 11 Å, while in a liquid state, so as to reduce the stabilizer.
