Title:
QPCR METHOD FOR DETECTION OF VARIANT THROUGH SIMULTANEOUS ANALYSIS OF MULTIPLE TARGETS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/034796
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an economical and efficient variant detection method and kit that detects multiple mutation sites simultaneously with a probe emitting the same fluorescence, thereby reducing the possibility of false negatives and facilitating the simultaneous detection of many variants. The method and kit overcomes the disadvantage of low positive detection when using a hydrolyzed fluorescent probe with high specificity but low fluorescence signal value, and achieves high fluorescence signal values and low Ct values of qPCR through simultaneous detection of multiple mutation sites and thus can increase the sensitivity of detection. Additionally, the present invention pertains to a qPCR method and kit that employs probes that use the same type of fluorophores for multiple target genes within the same taxonomic group of organisms to boost detection sensitivity, resulting in amplified signal values.
